Referral Program Policy
The CE Company’s Referral Program (the “Referral Program” or the “Program”) is our way of showing you appreciation for each and every person you introduce to The CE Company. To participate in the program, you'll need a confirmed account at The CE Company at the time you are deemed to have made the referral and at the time you redeem your credits. When you get credit for referring a friend or colleague, the credit amount will be deducted from your next invoice.
How the The CE Company Referral Program works (the "Rules")
Sign in to your account and click your name in the upper right corner and select the “Referrals” item found in the menu panel. Click the “Copy” button to copy your unique link.
Share this unique referral link with friends, colleagues, and any other individual in the United States, age 18 or older, who does not currently have an account at The CE Company.
The person you share your unique referral link with (“Referral”) will need to complete the following steps before you will earn a Referral Credit:
Your Referral must visit app.thececompany.com/register by clicking on your unique referral link.
Your Referral must open an account at The CE Company, which includes a valid email address,
You Referral must purchase co-sponsorship for a new continuing education program, which is approved by The CE Company.
If your Referral is eligible for an account with The CE Company, and meets all of the terms and conditions of the Referral Program (“Qualified Referral”), you will receive an update to the information on your referral page:
“Pending” if an account is opened but a new continuing education program has not been approved by The CE Company.
“Paid” when an account is opened, their new continuing education program has been approved and credit has been applied to your account.
“Total Credit Earned” is the total amount of credit earned for referrals during the lifetime of your account.
“Total Referrals” is the number of referrals that you invited to The CE Company who created an account, but may or may not yet have co-sponsorship for an continuing education program.
Check and monitor your referrals by signing in to The CE Company. This information will appear on your ‘Referrals’ page.

Terms and conditions
Your Referral can only be referred once and will be counted as one referral credit regardless of the number of accounts that individual or his Related Persons open.
Offer is not transferable and not valid with internal transfers of existing The CE Company accounts.
The CE Company reserves the right to disqualify participants for any reason at any time.
The CE Company reserves the right to reverse the referral credit, in its sole discretion, if your Referral does not comply with the listed eligibility requirements, which includes having approved co-sponsorship by The CE Company for more than 6 months, or any of the other terms of this Program and the The CE Company Terms of Use.
We use cookies to store information that allows us to identify referrals up to 14 days before the cookie expires. If a customer is acquired via your referral link after 14 days, we may not be able to attribute the referral to you.
Referral credits will remain active for 6 months after the termination of the Referral Program, after which date they will expire and become worthless.
Each referral credit on its own has no value and can only be used in combination with other credits obtained through the Referral Program to qualify for the Referral Items described above or cash equivalent. The Referral Program cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions or marketing referral agreements.
If you have an account and refer others who become customers, but never purchased co-sponsorship for a continuing education program yourself, we will settle your outstanding credit balance by check within 90 days after the last day of each fiscal year.
Taxes related to The CE Company promotional items are your sole responsibility. Please consult a legal or tax advisor with any questions relating to the U.S. Tax Code.
Your Personal Information
Personal information collected in connection with this Program will be used in accordance with The CE Company's Privacy Policy.
Referral Program Items
No transfers, cash awards, or Referral Program Item substitutions are permitted, except by The CE Company, other than a cash deposit to your non-retirement brokerage account (payment via check for retirement account holders). The CE Company reserves the right to substitute a Referral Program Item with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Referral Program Items provided are subject to verification of eligibility, geographic location, and compliance with these Rules. You may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and where legal, a publicity release (collectively, the “Affidavit”), and return same, properly executed, within seven (7) days of issuance of notification. Once the required information and official paperwork are received within the specified time period, verified, and receive final approval by The CE Company, the Referral Program Item or cash equivalent will be provided to you within sixty (60) days. The CE Company will not replace any lost or stolen Referral Program Items. The CE Company’s decisions are final in all respects of the Referral Program.
The Referral Program cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions or marketing referral agreements.
General Conditions
By participating in the Referral Program, you agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless The CE Company, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, members, managers, partners, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any liability or damages which may arise out of participation in the Referral Program or out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of any Reward or products attained through this Referral Program. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Released Parties are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of referral information, or for any human or printing error in these Rules or any promotional materials, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in the Referral Program, or for late, lost, stolen, illegible or misdirected referrals. Referrals that have been tampered with or altered are void. If, in The CE Company’ opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of this Referral Program, or if any difficulties compromise the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Referral Program, The CE Company reserves the right to void any referrals at issue.
The CE Company also reserves the right at any time to modify, suspend, or cancel the Referral Program , and any changes will be effective immediately on notice. Notice will be given either on the The CE Company website or via e-mail. Your continued participation in the Referral Program after such notice will be deemed as an acceptance of such changes. You should review these Rules periodically to ensure familiarity with the most current version. You will always be able to tell when the version was last updated by checking the “Last Revised” date at the top of these Rules. All questions or disputes regarding the Referral Program, including without limitation, those involving eligibility, participation, fraud, and abuse will be resolved by The CE Company.
Disputes Related to the Referral Program
The dispute resolution arbitration procedures set forth in your brokerage agreement with The CE Company governs this Referral Program. The Referral Program is conducted in English. Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Rules, or the rights and obligations of you or The CE Company in connection with this Referral Program, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Iowa, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than in the State of Iowa.
Miscellaneous
The invalidity or un-enforceability of any provision of the Referral Program will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision of the Referral Program is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. The CE Company’s failure to enforce any term of the Referral Program will not constitute a waiver of that provision. You agree to waive any rights to claim ambiguity of these Rules. Headings are solely for convenience of reference and will not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of the document or any provision hereof. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Referral Program materials, privacy policy or terms of use on the The CE Company website and/or the terms and conditions of the Referral Program Rules, the Referral Program Rules shall prevail, govern, and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in The CE Company’s sole and absolute discretion.
